That book was a serious disappointment - it actually made rabies boring. Far too much filler (pages go by on unrelated topics) and far too little interesting info or research. I'm not sure how/why it got published.
This website has more gripping information than that book.
[Maybe the best feature of that book is it leaves you so unsatisfied that you start searching all the fascinating rabies material on the internet.]
